The Story Behind The Glow

Long before I poured my first candle, I was fascinated by the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit.

I began my career studying Environmental Design at Texas A&M University, where I learned that architecture is about far more than buildings. Light, proportion, texture, color, and thoughtful design all influence the way a space feels and how the people within it experience it.

That curiosity eventually led me in a different direction. I found my way into the mental health field, spending years helping people better understand themselves, their emotions, and the many factors that shape overall well-being. Through that work, I came to appreciate something I had always sensed: our surroundings matter. The spaces we create, the objects we choose, and the rituals we practice all influence how we experience our daily lives.

The Vintage Glow Company was born where those two worlds meet.

It brings together my love of timeless design, the craftsmanship of vintage glass, and the belief that our homes should be places of comfort, beauty, and intention. I don't see candles as simple home décor. I see them as invitations to pause—to mark the beginning of a quiet morning, welcome loved ones around the table, unwind after a long day, or simply create a sense of warmth during life's ordinary moments.

Every vintage vessel is chosen because it deserves another chapter. Every fragrance is thoughtfully selected to complement both the character of the glass and the atmosphere it creates, with the hope that each piece becomes part of your own traditions, celebrations, and everyday rituals.
